Randomness

Not like any of my other posts really have structure but I thought I'd call this one random well because I had no real idea of what I should write about. My brain isn't tired but i know I should go to bed. 530am comes fast :/ but instead here I am.

Work has been going good, Kyla and I are getting along awesome!
I am still working out at the barn, I find working with horses a good de-stresser. I do want to start taking a lesson a month or something. I know the basics but since I've been training for the last few years I know I've picked up bad habits and I need them pointed out. I also wish I could train horses full time and make good money. Speaking frankly I am not making anything right now. I didn't really expect to be paid also I haven't asked. Just in a perfect world I wish that I could do what I love and make good money.

Random facts have been thrown in in the bullets. I'm not a writer so I do what I want!

Tonight I went for a run on the treadmill down stairs, few things about that

• I know better then to run after 8pm... because this is what happens. I don't get tired
• I truly believe I could run for a long time but my brain gets bored and starts telling me i'm tired or i'm breathing funny or i'm going to die.
• I like cranking up the speed and just full out running. I can't do it for long but it feels so awesome to just go
• As a kid and still now I love to run barefoot as fast as I can down hotel hallways
• If my feet didn't hurt so bad i'd love to run in barefeet
• I want to try and find a pair of the newer barefeet shoes
• I know i'm going to be hurting tomorrow.... my joints are crappy 
• I see a surgeon hopefully sooner then later for my ankle cracking... it doesn't hurt unless I exercise modestly or more for two+ days in a row. Then my knee and ankle hurt for more then 3+ days :( kills the groove of working out.

I started Crossfit this past weekend. I feel stupid though. I don't know what happened but part way through the workout my chest tightened and I couldn't breath. For fellow RT's and health care professionals I started to have a wheeze and what one might start into the category of inspiratory wheeze. Scared the crap out of me. I've never had it happen to that extent before. I've done spirometry testing in school and no signs of asthma or anything. While running tonight nothing happened so I'm stumped. Maybe had something to do with the benalyns I took for my allergy attack that morning. But seriously I hope it doesn't happen again. I do really like the place I started at. Crossfit Villans. They seem to really care about form and to make sure you are lifting properly. I like to see that rather then them just being like "oh ya go lift that" and then me getting hurt. I was still feeling the partial saturday work out I got yesterday.

This week is super busy, I head up to Saskatoon to get my car looked at.

• My car and I had a learning curve experience 
• I have only left my car at a shop once before
• I can count on both hands the people who have driven my car
• Only one other girl has driven it
• I haven't driven my car as much as I thought I would be this summer
• I really want to drift it, I'm scared to though. No second car to be a back up or just incase car as well as school has already thrown me into a massive debt hole.

I am also photographing Driftwest's Am Competition this weekend. I am super stoked to get my new gopro out there. should be awesome!


Just realized I haven't updated since my birthday. Well I had an awesome birthday again this year. celebrated with my family and friends and really had a good time. I was also super spoiled and got a lot of gifts (see in pictures below)

• I sometimes type words backwards like of
• I sometimes hit the space bar before I'm done the word so it really screws up a word
• I am somewhat ambidextrous 
• I don't mind typing, I can really tell when I haven't practiced in a while

I am beyond lucky and know I am spoiled. I borrow my boyfriends truck to go out to the farm. Not only do he make sure I have a full tank of gas (not that I need a lot) but he also left me this can of my favorite drink with a cute note

Went and saw the newest Fast 6 movie.... my car got broken into while we were in the theater. Thankfully the person who did it knew how to break in instead of smashing my window. They also never took anything just left my passenger door kinda open.

For the last little while my coolant had been disappearing pretty fast. I was worried I had a head gasket problem on my hands. Thankfully it turned out the heater hose clamp came loose and the hose was starting to come off

Took my goddaughter to petland.... I love petland. I'd go all the time if I didn't think i'd look weird. Now I have a kid I can take so I can go more often :D

FREE!

SO i've been free for about 2.5 weeks now. And wow has my life been a non stop whirl wind. I always remember that my life in Regina has always been go go go, but I like it. Sometimes it becomes a little overwhelming and I'm still getting used to the fast pace again. I started work at Mosaic, my mom has worked there for forever, i'm pretty sure she originally commuted to work on dinosaurs (just kidding mom, I love you!). But anyways, Mosaic hires the sons and daughters of employees for the summer if they are in school. SO I got assigned to EHS&S (not my moms department), I also get to work with another summer student. She's awesome, and her family is old family friends, her dad and my dad used to windsurf together. Super cool. Our days thus far have been filled with filing, data entry, and lately 5Sing the pace. 5Sing is making everything standardized throughout all the Mosaic floors (theres 6 in total). Also have had a blast hanging with the other summer students. Everyone is pretty chill and we all get along. Most people think Kyla (other girl I work with) and I have been friends before we started working here (which isn't true), I think its just because we click, our weirdness matches and we laugh at a lot of things.

I've also been riding again, training horses to be more specific. I contacted the girl I used to train with a few years ago and asked her if she needed help again this summer and she said sure. So I try and go out 3-4+ times a week. Its hard work sometimes but other times its really rewarding. Also fun as all hell, got taught how to drive a bobcat, and watched a front loader have to pull out two trucks. Was hilarious.

Something I need to fit more time into my schedule for is hanging with friends, and especially the kidlets (haha Vik and Ethan). Hopefully going swimming with them tomorrow :D .

Over all I have had a great start to my summer and I hope it lasts forever! Just kidding I know it will fly by, but here's hoping it at least feels longer.

So the weekend I moved home there was a massive car meet put on by DODOlogic as well as a SpringMatsuri (drift event)

I had fun photographing it. The event went great, the wall only claimed a few cars.

My temporary editing set up, not the nicest but it works.

Had to go get x-rays a few weeks ago, some of you may know I sound like I'm falling apart all the time. Well the nurse called and told me "your ankle appears to not be fractured" Well thank you sherlock, I didn't come in with it fractured so if it was then we have more problems. Anyways doc called me and I guess we'll see, hopefully sooner then later I'll have some answers.

Went up to Stoon with lovely Allison to visit my best friend and her cousin the lovely Miss Sara. Was a fun night!

Figuring out why my bike won't run. Well the switched was clogged and the filters were garbage. All fixed up for now. Hopefully RMB holds out for a while (RolliMcBreaksalot)

Gave it a test run, worked good... then started flooding out everywhere. Thankfully it was an easy fix, there was a tiny piece of dirty stuck under the needle (that controls the float) now she runs. Hope to go out and give a good run tomorrow night.

So tonight I was supposed to go riding, but with waking up at 5:30 ish and working till 4:30 with walking around 5Sing all day I am beat. I feel so tired I don't want to leave my bed. Friday morning though those horses are mine.

Ohh I also wanted to remember that Lady (horse we are training) was an evil witch this past week. Thankfully I borrowed her from her owner (a 12yr old girl) and tried riding her. She was acting to hot for this younger girl to ride. Well once I got on and tried to make her work, massive hissy fit. Bucking and rearing, thankfully it wasn't anything big, she's pretty small but still it was annoying. I'm glad her didn't have the hissy fit with her owner on her back.

I want to start writting more often again, I will try!
