Still here

**So I wrote this quite a while ago. I have added some updates**
So I know it has been FOREVER since i've blogged. But we bought a house and I started prac, ooooo and I also bought a new car. So I've been busy.
I was thinking about something the other night. You get told tons of lies when you are little, like 'you don't need naps anymore, naps are for little kids' or pretending like life is so much better without them. 'Once your old you get to stay up late' like it's an awesome thing to get to stay up late.  Perception of having a job is awesome. But all of the above are LIES, LIES I tell you.
Naps, naps are awesome. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, they. are. awesome.
Staying up late... wayy over rated. Bed time is around 10 when you get up at 5am. So staying up late is no fun.
Job, okay so this one is a half lie. Yes having a job brings in money, and money buys awesome things. But it is hard work. and working for free is the ultimate worst. Not only physically exhausting but mentally as well. And I'm not making money, so double boo on that.

Prac
It's been going awesome. I've seen so many cool cases and saw some really rare things. I've worked ICU since prac started and it's been great. Another thing I learnt is in the profession we talk about gross things all the time. Like I mean ALL the time. Doesn't matter if everyones just chatting or eating lunch, gross things come up all the time. Thankfully I have a stone stomach on this stuff. Let me define gross; today at lunch we talked about sputum (gross crap you cough up out of your lungs), what colors refer to different strains of pneumonia. Yup the different colors mean different things or at least can lead you to start looking in one direction. It's kinda nice to be able to talk gross things with people without them giving you the 'i'm going to throw up' face. lol sorry family.
Ohh and for those that don't know. I am in practicum for Respiratory Therapy, it's 11 months long and it's normal working hours without pay.

**Right now I am in Stoon doing my peds rotation. I absolutly love it up here. The preceptors are really great and challenging and the hospital is huge.

New car
Its been awesome and hard all at once. I started the safety, every car that gets brought into the province needs an inspection. My car needs a few things, hardest part is the days I get off normally are the days the shops I need to go are closed. So it's been tough getting my stuff done. Thankfully my family is super helpful in trying to help me get the things I need. Sooner or later it will be fully plated and good to go!
**I've been driving the forester for a bit now. I love it. So much fun and practicality**

So flickr has made it super hard to add photos :/ ugh.
Anyways. I worked Comic Con in Regina this year. It was awesome. I worked for AlMar and they are cool guys.

No idea why these are sideways... ugh!

**Well if you made it this far I'll explain another little tidbit about why I haven't blogged in a bit. Besides the fact that I'm trying to figure out the best way to add photos I have to add that I don't have a house or a fiance anymore. Some know what happened, quite a few don't. I pretty much erased the entire thing from facebook. :(  If you really want to know just get a hold of me.

I will keep working on adding photos!
