So this started quite a while ago that on thursdays you post old pictures. People called it Throw Back Thursdays. I really like it, it gives you a chance to post old pictures and reminisce. So here I go
I forget what year this was. But this was Halloween on a pub crawl I believe (we are on a bus in this picture), one of my best friends Kayla and I.
Exhibition one year in Regina a looong time ago. Another of my best friends Sara and I, I think Chris was there too.
As you can see I am always super classy in photos. I think this was at Chardelle's Birthday
2012 Canada Day Miss Vik and I
Hahaha Sara will probably kill me. But as you can see she is always tip top of her game in every photo.
Another one of my favorites of Miss Vik
We used to go out alot, no idea when this was taken
Swimming lessons with Vik and I... I think thats even a black berry I had.
New years 2013
And this is why I am normally behind the camera
Photo I think Pho took. Wake up at the crack of dawn, Pho was a good sport about it. And a damn good photographer
Had so many awesome times in Saskatoon. This one it right at the top. Thanks Lee i'll never forget that day.
First year in school
This guy. <3 Puts up with me :)
Last tbt. My first apartment in Stoon and the awesome friends I had who would come visit me and we'd have a blast.
Day in and out living in Calgary and being in the Respiratory Therapy program at SAIT

The world as it spins
Social media
I like social media, it's a way for me to stay connected to friends and family across the world. It has especially been awesome to see my cousins grow up and for me to see big family events even if I can't be there. But there is a down side like there is to everything. There are those people who just wreck it for everyone else. I honestly think some people out there need to find better things to do with their time. Maybe focus on themselves, maybe they aren't happy with some aspect wit their lives and feel the need to spread their unhappyness to others. Whatever the case may be I try and avoid these people at all costs. I haven't come up with a good way to get these people to realize their miserableness, maybe I never will. I know for a fact that self growth can not happen without internal reflection. I am not saying that I am always right, but when I am unsure of if I am correct or I am in the wrong I consult people. I consult people who I believe would give me truthful answers whether I am in the wrong or right. If I am wrong I want to be told, because honestly I may not be seeing why and maybe I need to do reflecting. But at the same time I feel I can't always be told I am wrong and I am actually at full fault. Hence why I ask more then one person.
After years of only seeing black and white to situations I came into a situation on the sidelines, to it where grey was the new option. The area of grey can be so wide spread at times. But there are always those who will only see black and white. Grey areas are always around whether people choose to see them. They are the 'partially wrong' times, they are those who have a different opinion when a situation occurs.
I know I am babbling, possibly not making sense. I am in one of those moods in which life/the world doesn't seem like a nice place to grow up into. It would be nice if there was a happy place that nice and caring people could be. I think of it like a movie I watched, forget the title, of where the world is back and white with shades of grey and then parts of it start turning color. If the colored parts where the happy, great to be with people. And then the rude, spiteful, not great to be with people were in the black and white parts.
Again I know there is the grey section where the black and white people may not always be rude and spiteful, but in that case they can come over to the color side. and hence go back and forth. But in a world like that it would be so much easier to associate with people.
**Disclaimer** I am on some really quite good meds for muscle pain. hence the more out there kind of post.
Bahah a snap chat I took of my cat. She's the devil
Flying home
The devil cat watching the mens Olympic gold game
Selfie with my Aunt photobombing it lol on our way to the Girl Guides Tea. It was really good!
House hunting is still happening. Once we get a house I'll probably do a post on the whole thing. This is just a photo of a photo in a house/condo magazine that I like the coloring of.

Reading Week!
As part of my christmas gift from my wonderful fiance, we went out to the mountains with a couple of our friends. It was amazing, we stayed on the mountain at Sunshine and it was phenomenal weather.
Now I am back in Regina for the rest of the week and just enjoying my time here. I always feel like there are so many people to see, and not enough time.
The other thing that has been keeping me busy lately is the fact that Chris and I are buying a house. I know I don't have to explain ourselves to anyone, but to keep somewhat of a record. A few weeks ago Chris had come up with the idea to see if we could get a mortgage. And well since he is the only only making money he went out and got it done. I really couldn't ask for a better guy. We had been looking for a rental place for sometime for when I am back in Regina to rent together. It didn't seem possible to find a place that would fit our wants that was under $1400. Which we found ridiculous. I still have yet to receive my schedule for my final year so I have no idea at this point if I can even work a part time job around my shifts and school.
So instead of paying around 25000 into someone elses pocket we discussed getting our own house. Now this won't be our dream house. But it could be a rental house for us in the future or at least a good stepping stone to our dream house. I can't wait to to start working so we can feel more comfortable with money.
So now we have started on the road to finding our first house. I wish they taught this in school, what to expect, what the steps are. Thankfully we have found really great people to work with and help us out.
This weekend we start looking :)
Chris made reservations for us at Japanese Village for Valentines day. Us hammin it up before the chef showed up
Marie and I
Drinks! I had a Chocolada, it tasted weird... but good
The chef cooking away
He was really funny
So before going out to the hill we had to stop at Future Shop and get some go pro pieces. Future Shop wasn't open yet and Petcetera shared a parking lot and they were open. I hate seeing all the unwanted animals but they are super cute.
This rabbit looked like velvet
Pano while driving
Cool mug that we found while shopping in Canmore (I think)
Pano of the hotel room
The hotel was quite nice
Chilling out at the hotel while Marie and Laurie played chess
Pano from the top of the parkade in Banff. (Pano is a new option to me)
Found this sign in the parkade. No dancing on your skateboard is what I guessed this was.
Mountains on the way home
I have gotten to see this ham a lot lately. Which is nice, I miss her growing up while being away. So even let me braid her hair today :)

Live and Learn
I've lived in Calgary for about 2 years now and wow have I learnt a lot
- if you don't have a vehicle here the transit is pretty damn good! Well the train is anyways. Yes I have encountered a few hiccups while using it but over all its generally on time and quick to get you where you need to go
- If you are going to SAIT it's worth it to check out and weigh the options of living in residence. Yes it is expensive, but ohh so very convenient
- The weather here is awesome, well okay maybe thats a stretch. But honestly I've worn my winter coat 3 times in the last 4 weeks. Now thats saying something.
- The views here are spectacular
There's plenty more but I'm having a brain block at the moment so I will carry on
I have lived on my own, and with people and now in a residence type situation. Living on my own and with other people is a great learning experience. I classified residence as it's own thing because really it is. I can't really compare it to living on my own or with other people. Yes I have a roommate in residence, but we don't have a living room or our own common area (theres a floor shared common area). The front doors are paper thin and I can hear everyone walking down our hall. The kitchens are tiny with minute (mInoot) counter space, and last but not least we don't have a bath, only a shower.
If I was coming back again to live here this would be a good list of things I would feel necessary to bring
- laptop or desktop (both is a little overkill but it actually has come in use)
- school supplies (pens, pencils, highlighters, books, ect)
- Clothes (obviously) (Summer, fall, winter, spring)
- Bedding
- Mattress topper!
- Mirror
- ipod
- gym runners
- extra blanket
- fan
Now for the kitchen and bathroom things I suggest making a list with your roommate (if you will have one) and decided who will bring what
- knives (and a sharpener!)
- plates (my roommate and I brought a set each and it worked well)
- cups
- travel mug
- cutlery (again we found we ran out of forks all the time so I brought more form my set)
- cutting boards
- pots x 2
- pans x2
- garbage can
- toaster over (not a must have but definitely is great having)
- a shelf for food (I bought one at ikea, works great because again there is practically no cupboard space here)
- shower curtain
- shower hooks x 2 (if you are living in SAIT residence for some reason they put their shower rad really really high. Even the extra length shower curtain isn't long enough so what we did was attach shower hooks to one another to double the length of them. it works well)
- bathroom garbage can
- basket for items to put put in on the shelves in the bathroom
- towels x3 or 4 (not 10 like I have... wayy to many)
- face clothes x3 or 4 again (again I have way to many)
I know I am missing stuff. But thats a general just. It probably doesn't interest anyone, but if anyone I know ever asks me if I have any advice for moving into residence, there it is.
My printer decided to act up this week... right after I had to send my laptop away. decided it didn't want to print black ink anymore. I have an awesome father who helped me track down a new one asap. He's awesome
I got this in the mail this week. My family really is amazing. I not only love getting mail but care packages make my week! maybe even month! There were so many goodies inside including pens and stickies! I am weird but I like cool colored pens and stickies.
This was also inside. A green spot cinnamon bun! I was so ecstatic when I saw this, of course it was in a container and I was surprised when I opened it and found this. These are the best cinnamon buns ever!
My lab tests. We are conducting these PFT tests on one another. This one is called an FVC, this one measures the function of the muscles of my breathing, and the gas flow in and out of the lungs.
(this one is really big if you click to view it big) A barber/hair salon just down from SAIT offer "Gluten Free Haircuts"
So earlier this week I saw a girl from the x-ray program walking around with a skeleton on the back of her sweater and instead of just a drawn skeleton it was the words for the bones that made up the picture. There is one floating around on the net that someone had done like this. But supposedly he won't reply to the comments to buy a copy of it to use it. It also wasn't specific to our program. I did one with my own words with help and input from the class. lol one of my favs that got put into the final was lung butter. lol this was 1/4 done
Breakfast... yes I do like some toast with my syrup
I haven't been snowboarding in what feels like forever. Coming up soon I'm going to the mountians for a weekend with Chris and another couple friends of ours, it will be a blast... as long as I don't break anything. lol
Snap chatting my supper
Last night my eyes turned a green color, it's been a while since I've noticed it happening. Normally goes this green color and then in the fall it's a orange color
