Faster than a speeding bullet

That's the speed at which I feel my life is moving her in Regina. Besides at work where it drags on forever. If I'm not here i'm there or need to be over there, I kind of like it though. I mean I'm always doing something, hanging with different people/animals, if you get past the fact that it's go go go I get a lot done and have fun doing it normally. My life before school was like this... but streamlined a bit better. I could fit more in in a day then I can now. Most of that has to do with lack of reliable car, and starting work at 7am. I'm really wanting to fit in going to the gym again... but then I have to look at my schedule and move things around and or find rides/work car pooling out. Once i find a gym I really want to go to I'll make it work.

Ohh I wrote a blog idea down in my phone the other day, entitled Good Boss. I think I was referring to the fast that my reporting to boss right now is probably my ideal boss. I've had my shares of bosses, some good some horribly horribly bad (aka DL). If yu know me outside of this blog you will more then likely know what DL stands for and why she is the epitome of horribly bosses. Anyways back to the positive, a good boss, what makes a good boss?
Well in my case I will list the qualities/things that my current boss exemplifies:
  • Empathy - she's done the job i'm doing now and know how much it sucks. She listens when we need to vent over how frustrating our job is
  • Friendly - she has random conversations with us about current things going on in life
  • Perfect balance of passive and assertive - she knows when we need to take that extra 10 minutes at lunch, it's cool and she doesn't get worked up over it and she knows when to be like 'hey can I get this in 5 mins'
  • Friend like - she tells us about her day and some of the office goings on
Overall she;s a hard worker and a great person.

Off topic (seriously when do I every stay on one topic)
It's been raining since last night (24hrs or so) on and off. But last night I decided I wanted to go to bed early to catch up on some sleep.... well thanks to the thunder and high winds I was up at 2am with the tarp in the back yard cover my parts bike whipping around. Then again at 3am with the thunder and about ever 30 minutes after that :| not cool mother nature, not cool.

Picture Time

This is Kurt and I at Amateur drift comp round 2 for Driftwest. Kurt was nice enough to take me for some ride alongs. Worst part is when I do ride alongs no one is taking pictures :/

This is my boyfriend Chris and I at the cabin making breakfast.

Was doing some instagraming from infield Driftwest round 2 Pro series

This is Chris' hobby. It's pretty sweet. We went to an event last weekend, had a bunch of fun

Little miss just crashed (my goddaughter)

Took my car to the wonderful mechanic Jesse Ollivier... lets just say my car is slightly handicapped

Picture of a picture from the Am drift event

Ate at a healthy place downtown Regina... this looks better then it tasted. It was chocolate and quinona. :|

Disappointed in GoPro. Their suction cup mount failed and fell of one of the drift cars, not only that but the hard case flew open and sent the camera flying. Now this camera dropped from less then 4ft off the ground and the car wasn't even going 60+km/hr. I went through 3 different tech guys and finally the last guy was able to replace my hard case. :/ still grumpy with them

Random shot taken off my phone. Was out trying on clothes with Kayla the other day.

Made a tower in the fire pit two weekends ago

More pictures of pictures

Much more rain and my car will need floaties

Chris and I decided to go exploring in the truck... we didn't get to far this direction

Shutting the underpass down because to much rain

Took the toys out a few times in the past while

Was a little sunny at the Am drift comp... I went from photographer.... to lobster

Well there's more... but i'm tired. I will try and write more. I also need to study more :/ hmm lots to do I guess
