2013!

Okay so I know I disappeared for a while there, finals had me swamped. I literately did nothing but sleep, eat, study then repeat. It was an ugly time but I made it through! Passed all of my classes with A's and B's :D so stoked!! Semester 2 starts sooner then later.

Well I started this post with good intentons but it seems that good writting ideas only come to me at certian times. One place I can rely on is walking into residence... but only entering the building from the west entrance. Don't ask me why but thats where I always get ideas. Tonights came from the shower while jamming out to music.

I guess now onto the resultions part of things

This year I hope to succeed in/do better at/do at all:
- Be happy with myself/not beat myself up so much
- Overall be nicer to people, I haven't walked in their shoes, I don't have a right to judge them
- Lose weight/get leaner (trying to accomplish this by being happier overall)
- For every negative thing think of three positive things (I started this a little while ago, I'll try and remember to do a blog entry on it)
- Stay on top of school work
- Realize when I'm getting stressed out and fix it before it gets horribly bad
- Be more out going
- Try and keep in contact with friends/family more
- Be happy with who I am and what I have, not to always want want want

Long list I know, I think I'm missing things as well

So since I last wrote I flew home to Regina and then took a family trip with mom, dad, and Chris to Cancun. We got back on Christmas eve, which was quite hectic trying to get everything figured out and sorted out. Plans changed but in the end I got to see some of my friends, a lot of my family as well as spend time with my niece and nephew (Godchildren). I wish it would have been a few more days but I was happy for the time I got.
I am now back to the grind once again at school, it started out with a less then graceful start with one of the teachers expecting us to have a lab activity done for 8am this morning. Not a big deal if you live in Calgary and were able to buy the manual from the book store, but for those of up not here we were more of less hooped. After quite a few emails to the teacher he finally posted it up online and we were able to get it... but not the texts we needed. I ended up guessing, using Google, and using one of the texts I did have. It worked out and I only had to stay up till just after midnight sunday after I got back to rez at 10pm. It made for a long day but it got done.

Christmas day my dads side of the family got together and were playing minute to win it games. This is my 84 year old grandpa on the floor playing the games with us. I really do look up to him, he may be hard to understand sometimes but when you actually pay attention he is probably cracking a joke or making fun of you. I hope to be as witty as him when I am that old.

I wrote two exams in this gym, the ceiling/air circulating fans are the worst! This is about 1/4 of the whole gym in the picture.

Possible new custom shifter boot... if I can find mom material. as well as maybe other plans in the works. Limited budget and space make planning hard :|

Found this tonight and had  good laugh. Mom and I were discussing the other day why she puts little pieces on cherry on the cookies (its supposed to be on the white part of the cookie) and she said because my dad likes it like that and that her and I would have to suck it up and pick them off. I pull out my container of baked goods mom packed me and she has already ripped off all the cherry pieces. Thanks mom! Love ya!
