Okay so last semester was a lot to bite off. We wrote exams for what felt like EVER! I know I should have written while going through them, but it was easier to ignore this then to add another "to do" to my list.
Over the christmas break I got to visit with a few people and also took a trip to Jamaica. I had a great time besides the fact that I ended up getting sick and not being able to see as many people as I wanted to :(
So over the holidays I got two tattoos. On either side of my right foot. The saying "Fear not, for this too shall pass" as well as an arrow on the outside facing forward. I found the saying when I was in the first year first semester. During my first semester it was tough, I was having a hard time being back in school, not having my family close, and also not being able to get home whenever I wanted. Motivational sayings actually helped me a ton.
The arrow was a more recent find but I fell in love with it none-the-less. I follow a few artists on instagram and new that Black Smith Art Studio would be perfect to get it done while I was at home. Jesse did a phenomenal job. The idea behind the arrow is such 'An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is
dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it’s going to launch
you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming' I thought it perfectly balanced out the quote.
Second semester has started, the schedule is weird later start times and the classroom they have us in is atrocious. Its a massive lecture hall and I can't seem to focus at all :(
So it is mandatory for me to get the flu shot. I waited a long as possible to not get it. I'm not one of those people who think i'm going to get autism from the needle, but I am also the person who hates needles and I am allergic to a random compound that hold a tablet together :| more so getting random stuff injected into me that "may help" is not on the top of my priority list thank you very much.
