walk walk walk walk walk walk walk

That was my weekend... walking. haha This will be long, i'm forewarning you.
Chris came in friday early morning, Alex and I went to pick him up from the airport. Spent most of the day at Chinook mall, watched a Five Year Engagement, and just hung out. Saturday we woke up early and walked downtown, then around The Core Mall, then Stephen Ave, we checked out the Olympic Park where they were setting up for the live performers that happened later that night, figured out the trains and went to the zoo, we went to Calgary Tower for supper, then checked out the live performers, sunday we hung out, watched the game, went and got groceries, and just chilled out.

Chinook mall
Was cool, I hadn't been around the entire mall yet since moving here. Checked out a bunch of places and found some clothes for Vik and Ethan.

Five Year Engagement
It was an okay movie, had it's funny parts but I wouldn't pay to watch it or watch it again.

Walking downtown
Hasn't been the first time that i've walked downtown from school, it's really not that bad. I wanted to show Chris this green park type thing but when we got to the one entrance there were about 5 drunks yelling and fighting.... we decided not to stop.

Core Mall
Checked out Devian Gardens and did a quick walk through the mall. I was also not the brightest and wore my stupid walmart flip flops and they were already giving me blisters from the walk from school to downtown so I picked up bandaids. To make them stay I had to use a lot :/ my feet looked stupid all day :/

Stephen Ave
Bought a case and screen protector, i'm worried about my phone turffing it off of my bed and smashing :/ this case should suck up some of the impack. Not a lot of vendors which sucked but whatever

Olympic Park
Was pretty cool, it was more like sleeping park lol. There were I think 4 people spread out all over the place that were sleeping on the grass. The park was also busy, they were setting up for the live performances taking place that (sat) night.

Zoo
I haven't been to the Zoo in forever, saw a lot of animals. Tons of walking and I swear at one point in the afternoon all of the animals were sleeping.

Calgary Tower
The food is soooo good here. I also asked for one of the half circle tables to we could eat and look out the windows. That was the best.

The live performances
Some were so weird, the cloud was super cool. check out pictures

This person rang a old school school bell then read out something.  believe the table next to there was a place where I think you could get them to say anything you wanted without knowing who said what

Random crap you see when living in rez....

Tons of Domo and Hello Kitty at this toy store

My second hand awesome pink purse had reached it's life span. The one handle was being held on by just a few fibers... wasn't safe to put my camera in anymore :(

Kayla wanted black leggings and I found this jacket... another had to buy. Saw tons of other cute stuff but couldnt pass this up.
