Back from the Dead!

So I have been MIA lately, motly because we were entering what us "Baby RT's" are calling Hell Week. This week we have/had

• Large Anatomy and Physiology emax
• 214 mid term
• CARTA comparasson essay due
• 201 essay due
• 218 skills assessment
• 214 skills assessment
• Medical terminology final

and the teachers were nice enough to move 218 midterm till next week thank god. This stuff is on top of our regular studying/note taking from classes, as well as journal assignments, and peer reviewing of paper due next week (thankfully).

But I am happy to say I am done a good chunk of the list to do this week with marks I am proud of!

One thing school is teaching me is that
1) there is no breaks... ever. Once you are done one thing move to the next... possibly before you are even done the last thing
2) don't get sick! the roomie is sick and missing one day of classes is equal to making up about 3 days of work/understanding class

Referring to #1 it was at 1pm this afternoon that I started looking at christmas ideas for things :D

Changing topics
I LOVE halloween. it's fun, you get to try out being different without being called out on it. This is the second year I have tried doing zombie make up :)

Pumpkin that I carved this year. SAIT is super awesome because they host events like this to make the students staying here feel more at home. So I trucked over to East Hall and carved a pumpkin with Rachel. This is Rachels first Halloween :) We also met some Australians that said they have never carved pumpkins either. 

The Friday before Halloween Chris, Rachel and I went to the haunted houses at the Stampede Grounds. I did the make up for Chris and I and Rachel was a fortune teller.

Today is actually Halloween so I woke up a bit early and did a more simplified zombie make up :) I ended up getting a lot of compliments from people. Also today was lab day and I wasn't sure if I was allowed to wear regular clothes so I ended up just doing the face piece instead of the face and neck piece I had planned. Didn't want to wreck the scrubs.

This has been our weather lately. A snow/ice fog mixture. Its really cold on the face when walking... especially with the make up sine I can't do up my coat the whole way.

Also turns out I can break supposedly non breakable microwave safe dishes :/ I followed instructions of the chicken pot pie!
