Its snowing in wonderland!.. wait nope, still in jail... but still snowing

So yes it is snowing here, as well as everyone on facebook has updated me that is also snowing in Regina and Saskatoon. Who needs windows when you have facebook?

Top of the to buy list
- Mitts! I brought my board gloves back but I want more or less 'fashion mitts' I guess you can say. Something to just keep my fingers warm to and from class, board mitts are a little over the top for that.
- Wax, for halloween make up

Well yes I have been MIA since last week. It was the long weekend and I went back 'Home'. I put home in ' ' because I have many homes or places I call home.

Places I call home right now

  • Regina - family and highschool/friend I grew up with are there
  • Cabin - used in the summer as a home. I spent more time this past summer out there then I have in the last 3 years. It was good, I loved relaxing out there and bringing friends out.
  • Saskatoon - Place I probably will end up living. I love the city, like the people, all around good place to live. And close enough to family that it's anywhere from 1hr 45 min drive to 2.5hrs depending on who's driving lol
  • Calgary - Home as of right now, place I have the crap I use daily.
So yes I know some people get confused as to where I'm going when I say home, it makes sense because I have many homes :)

While home for this long weekend I finally got to meet and cuddle my new nephew/godson Ethan

He is three weeks old in these photo's

Halloween shopping

I also got to drive my car while I was home! Yay! I missed her so much!! Went out to the drift event and took photos. Now a few people asked me if I was going to drift. I want to, don't get me wrong, but the banks scare the shit outta me and I know I am still super shitty. I can spin my tires into third gear sometimes and the odd time I can take a good corner sideways onto a street (normally the worst streets like main roads :/) but I don't have enough practice to keep a corner or have anywhere to practice without getting more points on my license :/ . I didn't want to learn with like 12 other drivers there. I get enough crap from people being a girl thats into cars, it would just give them one more thing to dig into me about if I crashed my car into a wall. Another big reason I didn't go out is because when I sold my winter car I sold the rims and tires I was going to burn off/practice drifting with :s . I tried to keep them but it was a deal breaker (boooooo). With the new over fenders on I need better fitting rims anyways so the ones I have now will becomes drift spares.

Drift event had some casualties. Chris put the event on, and during the driver meeting said if something goes wrong and you think you are going to hit the wall, keep on the gas, don't apply the brake.... This s what happens when you hit the break. Now i'm not laughing at this guy, I feel really sorry for him, it's automatically programmed into us to hit the breaks when something is going wrong. Unfortunately you need to do the opposite in this case.

For some reason it won't let me embed the video, ohh well there's the link.

Picture of my keys for the 180. lol plate key chain came from SEMA a few years ago

Here's my dads other child (besides me) and my child put away for the winter. Spoiled brats in their heated garage.

My beautiful welcome home flowers I got from Chris!

First thing I noticed when I got home, the bed was extremely low.... well not to an average person but to me with my sky high res bed it was.

Bed at home (Regina)

Bed at res (the nightstand is average size) its about 4+ feet off the ground

After getting back to Calgary I emptied my camera onto my desktop. I let the transfer go over night so I don't actually know how long it took, but I think close to forever.

Roomie and I went to Walmart yesterday... we somehow ended up in Calgary hood area :/

Something else Sask doesn't have that I know of... Liquor flyers

Picture out my window looking down town  It's sleet snowing here today off and on all day. Nothing is staying yet though.
