Wouldn't this mean people are home sick all the time? Even at work?
Beside the point, today while walking into my room I noticed on the calendar that my mom made me I have a tag for "home sick" or advanced booking. Now i'll give some back ground on this because some people are probably like wth.
This goes back to when I was living in Regina this past summer, my parents used to joke about leaving me in Calgary, I keep on a brave face and didn't let it show how much that comment really hurt until one day close to the day I was leaving for school I lost it. Just started crying, this was the first time id be moving this far and not having a constant mode of transportation to come home whenever I pleased. I think I made mom feel bad by crying on the phone to her, in which she stapled these baggage tags to my calendar for "flights home" They weren't actual tickets but they remind me I could go home whenever I needed. It was a big help. The Calendar is super cool too, mom went onto facebook and put a ton of pictures of everything every month. Good reminder of home.
Me feeling homesick... not as much as I would think. I thought I would be a lot more upset about not being able to go home all the time. But in reality I have so much to do with school I honestly don't have time to dwell on not being at home. I love talking/skyping with people back home but I don't obsess over it... theres no time to really.
so all in all homesick for me = no (by definition from wiki I guess I am, but I am self diagnosing I am not)(lol), but I do miss a lot of thing and people from back home (all of my homes).
One of my favorite pictures of my dad and I and our children hahaha
I have realized I don't have any pictures of mom and I... That will have to change!
Calendar mom made me <3
Outside my window, things are looking more dead...
Common area view, this morning you could see the mountains fairly clearly
You can see the mountains better in this one
